Jesse Stephens

Founder

At the helm of Veterans In Pickleball is Jesse Stephens, a Jacksonville-born, Port Richey-raised serviceman of the U.S. Airforce in Minot, North Dakota. Jesse's never ending love for pickleball, interest in home improvement and welding, and admiration of the Red Hot Chili Peppers mean that he's continually striving to learn something new every day in order to become a better person. Scott Farish

Board Member

Veterans In Pickleball is a non-profit supported by a passionate and dedicated team, including retired U.S. Army Colonel Scott Farish. With over 35 years of service - he began his career as an enlisted Marine and then transferred his talents to become a Commissioned Officer in the U.S Army, culminating in a tour in Iraq in 2004 and a position as National Guard Chief of Staff in Washington DC. Scott has a wealth of knowledge and experience in personnel, manpower, program management, and payroll.

Megan Wilson

Board Member

Megan is a retired Army Colonel, with over 24 years of experience leading troops in both combat and peacetime. Her passion for leading diverse organizations in which physical fitness and mental well-being were the pillars of building strength in teams has followed her into retirement. An avid hiker, skier, and traveler, when Megan discovered Pickleball, she was immediately hooked.  Through Veterans in Pickleball, Megan continues her daily passion for coaching and mentoring people, maintaining physical fitness, and helping others maintain their mental well-being.

Richard Kenner

Board Member

Richard is a US Army Veteran with dedicated service overseas spanning 20 years,  to include deployments within Europe, Southwest Asia, and Korea. He now focuses on a career in IT and Cybersecurity. His service experience deeply instilled in him the importance of robust mental and physical health, particularly for those navigating the unique challenges faced by service members and their families. Richard believes that prioritizing mental and physical well-being can significantly reduce the anxiety associated with the pressures of military life. He is passionate about VIP to promote physical and mental awareness, and he believes connecting through community within pickleball can be a powerful tool in achieving this goal.
